Selected Accomplishment:
A. Translated and localized in Spanish a sourcebook that offers basic information and activities to enhance skills in preventing heart disease and stroke. The target audience was Hispanic health care workers. The assignment included the essential component of localization.
The translation produced the following results:
The creation of a user-friendly material in Spanish that the target audience may easily read and understand
The localization of the material in such a way that it is culturally and linguistically appropriate to the Latino population in the USA
